Configuring Entourage for Macintosh OS X for CAMail Spam Scanning

 

  1. From Tools menu, choose Rules.
  2. Select either the  “Mail (IMAP)” or “Mail (POP)” tab (depending upon your configuration).  The Rules window looks like the following:

 

 

  1. Click the plus sign next to New.  The Edit Rule window will open:

 

 

 

  1. Give the rule a name
  2. In the If section, click Add Criterion, choose “Specific header” from the drop down and type in:

X-Spam-Flag

  1. Choose “Contains” (default), and type:

 YES

  1. In the Then section, choose “Move message” from the drop down list, and choose the appropriate mailbox (you should create a new mailbox called Spam)
  2. Leave “Do not apply other rules to messages that meet these criteria” checked
  3. Leave “Enabled” checked.
  4. Press OK, and the close the Rules window to save.
