Configuring Eudora for CAMail Spam Scanning

 

  1. Select Filters from the Tools menu
  2. The Filter Window will appear.  In the bottom left of the window click the New button.

 

 

  1. In the Match section, use the following settings:
    1. Verify that the “Incoming” box is checked (default)
    2. In the Header field type (don’t use the pull down list)

X-Spam-Flag:

    1. In the comparison list choose “contains” (default)
    2. In the blank field following type:

YES

  1. In the Action section, make the following settings:
    1. St the first action to “Transfer To”
    2. Press the wide button which reads “In” (right of the drop down list) to display a list of mailboxes; select or create the mailbox you would like Spam  filtered to.
    3. In the second action, choose “Skip Rest” (this prevents further filters from firing)
  2. Close the window and save the filter changes when prompted
